PARENT WORKSHOP – PSCD EVENT FOR EYFS FAMILIES
It was great to see so many of our EYFS parents at the PSCD Workshop. Bridge. The Larkhall staff really enjoyed having the chance to develop further the key relationships they already share with our families. The early years of a child’s school life is so important in order to develop their social and character skills. This type of workshop underpins our belief that it is only by working together that we can gain the most for our community.
LARKHALL WINTER FAIR
On Friday 9th December we hosted our Christmas Fair, starting at 1:00pm and finishing at 3:00pm. It was fantastic to see so many of our families and children at the event. Despite the wintery conditions, the enthusiasm of all ensured it was a hugely positive end to the term. A big thanks to all of the volunteers who gave up their time.
CHRISTMAS LUNCH AND CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY
As always, the children and staff had a wonderful time at their Christmas Lunch Day. It is always one of the highlights of the year. As you can imagine, it is always a challenge to pull it off in the normal lunchtime hour, but again, as always, the children and staff manage this in a warm hearted and happy way.
On the same day of course, we have Christmas Jumper Day and again, our children lit up the school with their jumpers. It is a day they really look forward to and a big thank you to all of our families for sharing in the delights of this day.
CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCES
It will be great to see as many of our families as possible at the various Christmas performances. Below is a reminder of when these are happening.

All of the children have been fantastic during the rehearsals! They are all demonstrating huge perseverance and having bucket loads of fun learn all of the songs and actions and they are looking forward to performing in front of so many people.
WINTER WEATHER
The weather is certainly becoming much colder. Winter has finally arrived and don’t we know it. The forecast for next week is looking very chilly, so please ensure your children are wrapped up nice and warm.
That’s it from me. If there is anything else myself or a member of the team can do to help and support you during this time, please do not hesitate to get in touch in the usual ways. I am also always on the Gaskell Street gates each morning from 8:30am.
Best wishes
Gary
