I hope you and your families are keeping well. As you are aware, the Larkhall Primary Campus DNA is underpinned by our belief that as talent is universal then so should learning opportunities. For this week’s newsletter the focus is on celebrating the amazing curriculum enrichment we are striving to provide to our amazing children. Please take the time to read it.
Jungle party in Reception, inspired by their story of the week ‘Giraffes Can’t Dance’. Lots of great dancing and celebrating after a great week of learning!
Year 1 really enjoyed their trip to Holy Trinity Church Clapham as part of RE week. The children learnt all about Christianity and churches!
EYFS had great fun hunting for signs of Autumn on their local area walk today.
Year 2 have been working really hard practising their Islamic geometric patterns
Year 1 were looking at Christian artefacts and listening to Christian stories for RE week.
Year 4 made Venezuelan arepas yesterday for their dia de Español! They also used maps to label Spanish speaking countries. They also played lots of Venezuelan games like Palito de Mantequillero!
Cooking Club…. “Who knew cooking could be so relaxing” said one child during this weeks’ cooking club.

Year 6 celebrating Spanish Day by presenting their research to children in Reception.
Year 6 are learning about Buddhism. We are collaborating to find out more information about this religion
The children love taking part in chess club with Gary every week!
The children are really excelling at cycling at the Herne Hill Velodrome.
That’s it from me. Don’t forget, school is closed for INSET on Monday 1st November and the children are back on Tuesday 2nd November.
