URGENT COVID UPDATE
You may be aware that PCR tests to confirm a positive LFT have been temporarily suspended from 11th January. This means that anyone who receives a positive LFT will be required to self-isolate immediately and will not be required to take a confirmatory PCR test.
If your child has tested positive on an LFT they should isolate immediately and have a further LFT on day 6 and also on day 7. If they have a negative LFT result on day 6 and day 7 of their isolation period, then they may return to school on day 8.
However, if they do not have negative results on both day 6 and day 7, or do not have access to LFTs, then they have to isolate for the full 10 days and can return to school on day 11.
DOJO – A FINAL REMINDER
Don’t forget, from January 2022 Larkhall will be rolling out Class Dojo as its main form of home-school communication.
You have already received a guide on how to connect to Class Dojo. A huge thank you to the vast majority of our parents who have already signed up for Dojo. There are, however, a small number who have not yet done so.
To remind those families who have not already signed up, please can you:
- read the guide
- sign the agreement on the back page
- return the agreement to your child’s class teacher immediately.
Once you have returned your signed agreement, your child’s class teacher will send you an invite link to your child’s class by text message. Follow the steps in the guide to set up your account. If you have any questions, please speak to a member of the Leadership team.
