CHILDREN’S TRANSITION MORNING
On Tuesday 18th July children will have the opportunity to spend the morning in their new classrooms and meet their new teachers. Children will come into school as usual at 8.30am and go to their current classrooms with their current teachers. They will then go to see their new classroom at 9.00am.
This is always an exciting morning for the children. It would be really helpful if you could also speak to your children about their new year group next year.
As part of this transition morning, there will a Parent Meeting for children who will be moving from Reception to Year 1. This will start at 9:010am and will be held in the ground floor hall of the main school building.
LAMBETH SUMMER OF FOOD AND FUN 2023
We want to let you know that this Summer Lambeth Council will be hosting Lambeth’s Summer of Food and Fun.

Each programme will provide:
• Free, healthy, and tasty food
• Fun physical activity sessions
• A wide range of other activities to suit different ages and personalities
• Opportunities to learn more about food and nutrition for children and families

I hope your family can take full advantage of the summer programme.

YEAR 6 SLEEPOVER, PERFORMANCE AND GRADUATION
On the evening of Thursday 29th June the Year 6 children and staff enjoyed a Sleepover held at the school. This is always a fantastic event and one which the children and Year 6 staff always look forward to.
On the afternoon of Wednesday 12th and the morning of Thursday 13th July the Year 6 show will take place. The children in Year 6 have worked incredibly hard in order to make this an extra special showpiece. The acting and theatre management skills of the children never ceases to amaze me. Coming at the end of an extremely busy academic year, culminating in their SATs, the show itself will be an extravaganza.
Then the following week on Thursday 20th July we will be hosting the Year 6 Graduation Ceremony. Again, like the Sleepover and Year 6 performance, this is one of the highlights of the school year and a date in the calendar that all of the Larkhall staff look forward to.
That’s it from me. If there is anything else myself or a member of the team can do to help and support you during this time, please do not hesitate to get in touch in the usual ways. I am also always on the Gaskell Street gates each morning from 8:30am.
Best wishes
Gary
