POTENTIAL TEACHER STRIKE ACTION
- You may be aware from media coverage, that the National Education Union (NEU) has declared strike action. The two dates for these to take place are:
Thursday 27th April
Tuesday 2nd May
We are working closely with our staff union representatives to keep up to date with the situation, and I will inform you of the final arrangements as soon as possible.
I’m sorry about the potential disruption to you, and to your child’s education. I understand that this situation may be frustrating.
EID
Eid Mubarak to all our families who are celebrating with their loved ones today. We wish you all the best!
CLASS NEWSLETTERS
All families will today receive their child’s Class Newsletter for summer term 1. These Newsletters are sent out at the start of each half term and are such an important part of home-school communication. They outline the learning content your child will be covering this term. Of course, after reading this Newsletter, you would like to know more about how to support your child at home, then please speak to your child’s class teacher.
That’s it from me. If there is anything else myself or a member of the team can do to help and support you during this time, please do not hesitate to get in touch in the usual ways. I am also always on the Gaskell Street gates each morning from 8:30am.
Best wishes
Gary
